My internship at the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) was a great find. Indeed, such a training favoured the constant knowledge in administrative sciences but also led to the understanding of how an NGO involving a large number of actors, both physical and moral, work.

Firstly, my knowledge of administrative sciences has developed thanks to the research carried out in order to enrich the Knowledge Portal of IIAS. Thus, it was possible for me to discover the public administration in certain States such as Bahrain, Australia or Algeria.

Then the internship at IIAS helped me understand how an NGO is operating; with its resources and difficulties. For example, I saw all the logistic and human resources to effectively ensure the Conference of Bergen (Norway) organised by the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA).

Therefore, I strongly recommend an internship at IIAS for all students wishing to enrich themselves both at the human and scientific level.
