Hailing from France, Théo Fievet is our latest intern and if you’ve been following our new Focus on Local Governance, you may have noticed that he is the one behind the interviews conducted on the occasion. It’s time to get to know him a little better.
As the final part of my master degree, I am interning for the IIAS. Among other places I had the chance to study in, my double master degree in European “Governance in Utrecht University and Masaryk University (Brno), this experience allowed me to study the contemporary questions of multi-level governance in both Western and Eastern Europe and more particularly, to focus on the local governance level. I sincerely hope this double perspective as well as my outstanding academic background will be an asset for the IIAS team. In parallel with this internship I will be writing my master thesis. This research will be focused on the best practices that govern the relations between the European Union and its cities. The objective of the internship is therefore to work in synergy with the IIAS Team and to help highlighting the challenges of the local governance and the relations to EU in the framework of IIAS and its entities study and working groups’ programs.”
